The songs she writes are usually about her own life.  She tends to use real names in her songs.  But, the song "Tim McGraw" was about a boy she knew named "Johnny."

Her ideal outfit are a sun dress and cowboy boots and loves wearing bracelets.
She loves surprises, hardwood floors, black and white pictures and, of course, kids.  She also likes quilts because she is cold all the time.

She likes to read up on weird medical problems - and loves CSI and has seen every episode.

Taylor taught herself to play guitar, after a computer repairman showed her a few chords.

"Our Song" was her first number one song. She was 18 years old and 9 days old.
